How does Tatt2Away work?
Tatt2Away involves a revolutionary new treatment called Trans Epidermal Pigment Release (TEPR). After light abrasion of the skin, a proprietary fluid is injected into the tattoo pigment. The fluid breaks down the ink and a scab will form over the treated area. When the scab falls off, the pigment comes with it, leaving clear, pink skin to finish healing.
All tattoos can be removed, including whole tattoos, parts of a tattoo, or cosmetic tattoos. Tatt2Away™ can remove all colors, is effective on most skin types and is fast, safe, affordable and can be largely pain free.
How is Tatt2Away a better alternative to laser?
Tatt2Away is different from laser in a number of ways. First, it can remove all colors unlike laser. Second, it requires fewer, less painful treatments to reach the final goal. It is also more cost-effective for this reason. The Tatt2Away treatment is also safer - pushing the pigments out of the skin rather than absorbing them into your bloodstream for your lymph nodes and liver to filter, and it won't damage your natural skin pigment.
How long does it take to remove a tattoo?
Treatment sessions are typically short; lasting between 30 minutes to two hours. An average tattoo will require 4 treatments, but this depends on a variety of factors including skin type, age of the tattoo, amount of pigment, location, and history of other attempts to remove the tattoo.
An 8-week period is required between treatments in a given area to allow the skin to heal. For example, a tattoo requiring 3 treatments will take a minimum of 24 weeks, or up to 6 months to remove.

Does Tatt2Away hurt?
Laser has the stigma of being quite painful, but Tatt2Away typically is not. Since the handpiece is set up similarly to a tattoo machine, you can expect the sensation to be very similar to the sensation of the original tattoo. Often clients say it feels like a "soft tattoo".
